Calonge is divided into two population centers with a long tradition: the old town known as Calonge, and the tourist nucleus, located near the coast, known as Sant Antoni de Calonge. The old town of Calonge has a rich medieval history, located about 4 kilometers inland, and still preserves some towers and walls of the ancient castle of the locality.
